Cnlt Design is a web design company that got started by Stephen Ferris in 2011. It creates awesome websites that turn U (you) upside down with practical yet unique designs, often utilizing hand drawn elements, with a focus on reducing dependance on 3rd party plug-ins like Flash. You may or may not be familiar with terms like HTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JSON, PHP, or MYSQL, but Cnlt Design is. Currently the sole employee is founder Stephen Ferris who has been doing web design for a few years now.
Wear Yeti Clothing
www.wearyeti.comWear Yeti is a printed clothing company. This is one of my first mostly hand drawn sites. Most of the core structural elements were drawn by me, while the client drew most of the content elements and obviously the shirts. The site is designed with a full admin backend to add new shirts and events to the site. The admin scripts automatically resize and rotate the images making the process a snap for the client.
Steve Ferris World
www.steveferrisworld.comSteve Ferris World is a site about me, showcasing a lot of my talents. It's sort of an experiment right now, since the animation is pretty complex. Each link displays as a capsule on the Ferris wheel, and my javascript divides the number of links into 360 degrees to find the right placement on the perimeter. That makes it a lot easier to add or remove links down the road. It's my second hand drawn site.
Kiel Kennedy
www.kielkennedy.comKiel Kennedy is a buddy of mine who wants to be an actor. He didn't want as much hand drawn stuff as some of my other sites, so I scaled it back. Check out the cool zooming photo gallery. I've since converted that into a portable script so I can use it on other sites too. I also like to have fun with the navigation on my sites, so in browsers that support it, the links each rotate to a random angle when you click on one of them.
The Rejects of Standup
www.therejectsofstandup.comI'm in a stand-up comedy group called The Rejects of Standup, and we needed a website, so this is what I made. It actually doesn't have any hand drawn content on it, but I was able to make the entire site in about two weeks.
All Valley Engineering
www.allvalleyengineering.comThis is one of the most basic sites I've done recently. No hand drawn elements or special effects. Just some nice basic colors and clean layout.
